ActivitiesĪll activities are designed to fit the needs of each season's population. The goal is to create an opportunity for each camper to achieve success, whatever the camper's ability.įor a child to gain self-esteem he/she must develop the basic knowledge of the skills involved. Our program is designed to expose each camper to a wide variety of activities. In addition to a traditional day camp program, a child can participate in an academic program. A 3:1 camper to counselor ratio provides for a high level of individualization in all activities.

StructureĪt Our Victory Day Camp, each camper participates in a full non-competitive camping program. This is accomplished by concentrating on social skills as well as physical skills. The overall goal is to allow each camper to create value by developing feelings of independence and self worth. The program is administered by an outstanding and dedicated staff, trained in Special Education. These children often lack self-esteem and are in need of a structured and supportive summer environment. It is oriented toward children with learning disabilities and/or attention deficit. Our Victory Day Camp is a 7-week day camping program for children from 5 to 12 years of age. Transportation Provided by the Program: No.Accessible by Public Transportation: No.We do have children who are extremely allergic. We also do not allow any foods with nuts in them.We will send out a weekly newsletter letting parents know when those days will occur. Only on certain days will we provide lunch. If your child has any food allergies, or a certain diet, we ask that parents provide the snacks. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided every day.Field trip ratios are 1 teacher for every 10 children. No, the children must always stay with their class and lead teacher.

Are the kids allowed to go anywhere they want at Safari Joe’s?.The swim fee is a one-time fee for 2 nd – 8 th It will pay for the whole summer of swimming at Safari Joe’s Water Park.

Camp Victory can be offered as a winter, spring, and/or summer experience. Is the $45 swim fee weekly or a one-time fee? The same will go for the older kids (2 nd – 8 th). On field trip days, the younger kids (K4 – 1 st) will go at the same time but will stay with their grade.

Are kids separated by age in the summer?.

Due to safety reasons, we do not allow parents to drop off or pick up at the field trip site.

Can I drop off/pick up my child at the field trip site?.

On field trip days (K4 – 1 st: Monday & Wednesday 2 nd – 8 th Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday), your child will need to be dropped off by 8:30am so they can make it on the bus. You can drop off and pick up at any time.

Do I have to drop my child off right at 7am and pick up at 6pm?.

No, we do not provide a multi-child discount.

You must pay for the day(s) the morning you drop off or ahead of time.

Do I get to choose what days my child attends?.

We are open 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
